Cuisinart's two-slice Belgian waffle maker turns anyone into a waffle pro! The waffle maker preheats quickly to the desired temperature setting and maintains that temperature while the baker fusses with pouring the batter. A red indicator light shows that the unit is cooking the waffles and then turns green when they're done. The nonstick coating makes it easy to remove waffles and makes the chore of cleaning out the pockets very easy--just use a paper towel. It's even easy enough that kids can learn how to make breakfast. But make sure they use an oven mitt while opening the latch, as steam escaping from the waffle maker can burn.
